Having moved from a small town into a much bigger, and busier city at the age of 7, Chaeyoung had quite a hard time adjusting to her surroundings and the people around her. It wasn't until her neighbors moved into the vacant lot beside them that she made a friend, their only child Shim Hyewon, and from then on the two girls became inseparable. Though her personality remained quite timid until they became teenagers, she now finds it more comfortable to express how she feels about things in a healthy manner, to see people for who they are rather than what they show her, take pride in all of her hard-work, all while keeping a smile on display (even when she tries to fight it while attempting to be serious). now having moved to yet another busy and seemingly confusing city with her best friend, she spends her days creating nail designs for customers at their own beauty parlor.
