001: the birth of a seed
October 23rd — that was the day that a small baby girl was born to the excited Mr and Mrs Xu. She was a baby that was completely unexpected, being 10 years younger than her older brother, Mingzhe.
Mr Xu was a music producer who had worked with and was still working with bigshots of the industry. His work remains highly valued and artists still fight to work with him to this day.
Mrs Xu, on the other hand, worked as a vocal and dance instructor who happens to own her very own studio. It also came as no surprise that Mrs Xu was a retired singer who once had her fame in China.

Growing up, Mengyao was constantly surrounded by people's love and passion for music. It was no surprise that she found herself honed her own musical ear and eventually, her own love and passion for singing.
Her grades were great but her music was even better, having written songs from a very young age being influenced by her parents.

Eventually, Mengyao found herself travelling to Korea where she pursued her own dreams of sharing her music with the world. There, she found herself training with Cygnus and eventually debuting as the newest member of Pandora.
