Jeongsu, born as the eldest son of the Han family, bore immense responsibility from the moment he entered the world. He was destined to follow in his father's footsteps and assume his role when the time came, his parents grooming him to be a proper nobleman from an early age.

Not only did Jeongsu learn the intricacies of courtly life and how to navigate relationships with other nobles, but he also honed his skills with the sword. Before stepping into his father's shoes, he distinguished himself as a general in the military, striving to prove his mettle independently of his family. It was during this time that his parents broached the subject of an arranged marriage. Feeling the weight of his responsibilities as the eldest child and not wanting to disappoint his parents, Jeongsu agreed.

However, accepting the arranged marriage strained his relationships with his younger siblings. While his parents would not have forced the arrangement if Jeongsu had objected, his siblings believed that love should evolve naturally, not through parental intervention.
