full name: hwang hyunjin
 ⤿ the hwangs: a generally powerful family from south korea, which became relevant in the early joseon era (think 1400s). hyunjin's father possessed strength, and hyunjin's mother possessed similarly strong abilities regarding charmisa, speed, and intuition. his mother was the one who turned his father when they were younger. originally, the family rose to power alongside the royal family, however their existence has been erased from the world as we know it. this was due to some slip up within trusted friends. people became suspicious of the hwang's perfect looks, powerful demeanor, and their knowledge especially. when things got a little too tense, with people poking their noses where they dont belong, the hwangs were cornered. hyunjin's parents ended up cornered, fingers pointed, accusations thrown. they ended up fleeing the country when things got too close, something about losing their lives — hyunjin isn't sure, they don't talk much about this part of their history. eventually, they ended up in italy, no trace of the famous, adored hwangs in south korea. in italy, they enjoyed their lives, sticking to the shadows and just getting by as they do. the two eventually had hyunjin, the first and only child born to the family. he grew up in italy, proving to be strong and his abilities grew with time. over time, the hwangs got their spark back, returning to their old ways — manipulation, sneakiness, and charm. now, the hwangs have made it back to south korea, and it is very different than the world they used to know, but they plan on running the streets once again.

 ⤿ slowed age/physique: while not immortal, and not immune to death, he does age significantly slower than humans. he appears younger than he actually is, and prefers the look of him in his 20s (modern era).
 ⤿ enhanced speed & intuition: can move much quicker than humans. while not hand in hand, his intuition helps with making quick choices and knowing people's moves.
 ⤿ mind reading & charisma: he cant read every thought in people's minds, but more like the more loud ones in their minds. with this, he can use his charisma (he has some naturally, if you were to ask him) to work his influencing.
