Kevin was born as the youngest of two, in Canada. His parents despite claiming that they were very loving and caring towards their children had been too preoccupied with their work to properly care for their children both physically and mentally. More often than not the kids would find themselves hungry because their parents hadn't been able to provide meals for them and the kids having been too young to actually fend for themselves. 
When Kevin turned 15, his life in Canada had been abruptly changed when his parents had a job relocation and had moved to South Korea. The drastic changes had been difficult on Kevin with the immese culture shock and the inability to speak Korean, his parents having also neglected to teach him of his Korean ancestry. This had lead Kevin to a lot of shady ways but most importantly found him with what he loves.
It first started with underground street racing with some of his high school friends, despite not being able to legally drive, they found ways around it with fake ids. 
Shortly after graduation in Highschool Kevin started attending college for Mechanical Engineering and attending small league racing events before he was placed in the bigger leagues and became a more well known racer.
