It was a jolt from his state of sleeping that Daehyeon heard the sirens go off around the city, and not too much later he got the warning alarm on his phone. It was the first sign of the apocalypse, and Daehyeon had been dead asleep before it. His heart immediately sending him into adrenaline rush, he got up looking for his younger brother, except he wasn't to be found anywhere in the house. Another sense of panic rushed through Daehyeon, he immediately went to send a message to his brother, in hopes that he would get it before he knew the phone lines would be down and there would be initially no service.

Deciding that he had to move on, Daehyeon quickly packed himself a bag, grabbing the necessities that were needed and things he wasn't willing to leave behind, quick decisions were hard to make in time like this. Though he was ill prepared for the apocalypse, Daehyeon had set out and made do. Finding different places to consider home each night, and each day he was searching for his younger brother.

Daehyeon eventually found a group of people that took some convincing but they all decided to group up together, and these were the people who found the colony together, Daehyeon deciding to keep that his forever home as much as he could. A large place that could house many of the survivors to the colony.

Now Daehyeon makes sure to keep barricades up around the colony, and on occasion he'll build furniture that's needed for small comfortability at the colony.
