𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕷𝖆𝖘𝖙 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝕱𝖆𝖒𝖎𝖑𝖞: 𝕭𝖆𝖊 𝕵𝖔𝖔𝖍𝖞𝖚𝖓

In the northern part of the Butterfly territory, there was once a proud clan who are brave men fighting for the safety of the people of Butterfly territory. However, once the people of the Butterfly territory no longer seeks security and protection as they start learning to defend themselves. For 70 years,  their family slowly became unproud and resort to work in the mines themselves.

For Joohyun, reading her great grandfather's diary seems to have deeply rooted on her. Their proud strength as their family had instilled inside Joohyun's mind when she read every pages of her ancestor's diary. At the very young age, has a strength of a teenager which she often had troubles with other kids as she can lift a bag of coals herself.

However, by the age of 13, Joohyun witnessed her family being burried alive in a collapsed mine. None of her parents were found alive. No one took the little girl into their homes as they knew that she is a troublemaker, her strength is a danger to them... So she was forced to work for herself, to get money and to buy foods of her own. In the coldness of the night, Joohyun struggled to fall asleep without freezing and shivering as she draped herself with only a hay on her.

One clipper noticed how a 15-year-old Joohyun carries two bags of coal in her bag, she sees something in the young girl and when the time comes Joohyun is in trouble. The clipper saved her and brought her to her cozy home. The clipper became her mentor, she trained Joohyun to be a clipper like her.

For years, Joohyun trained under her mentor, she became serious and calculating unlike her mentor who is more lighthearted and clumsy. Joohyun became tired of people calling her by her name, everytime she hear her own name, she resented herself for not saving her parents. Her mentor gave her a new one, she named her "Irene". The name of her late daughter who was once a proud clipper.

At the age of 26, Irene became one of the strongest clipper in the Butterfly territory. She wielded two swords, one from her back and one from her hip. She mostly wears gray or black with furred coat as Butterfly territory is a snowy region.
