kim noeul likes to think that only her alone can define herself. how she dresses, how she presents herself, it's all up to her reflection of identity, no matter what anyone says. yet, being in the industry... it doesn't always go her way, when almost everyone in her path is too focused on what's outside than a genuine self expression. will it always be this way when she walks into the building of her new workplace — elle korea?

— how many years of experience do you have in the industry?
as of this year, i have 3 years of experience in the industry!

— what was your reason for going into the fashion business?
fashion is art, and art has always fuelled my passion. to explore what today's fashion has to offer, whether to reinvent trends or to delve further into people's perspective of good or bad artwork, is a challenge that i'm excited to share with the world. so i thought, why not be in the frontline of that? it's my dream, after all.

— why work for elle, specifically, instead of other magazines?
not only is elle well established within the industry, but they are also the pinnacle of art criticism. there this... kind of integrity that our industry badly needed, that i have seen in elle publications. you know what i'm talking about, right? ah, can i even say that here?

— tell us a fun project you've done/would like to do while in the company.
