daughter to a third/second generation of dry cleaning service owner, hayi has always been surrounded by "high maintenance" clothes that aren't hers. as compared to her older sister, she has never quite paid attention to the clothes, manning the shop just to make sure they're being paid correctly and take on complaints with a clear head. it was when she transitioned into college did she come to realise how fashion could affect one's image, socials and spirit.

HOW MANY EXPERIENCE DO YOU HAVE IN THE INDUSTRY? less than a year, i'm afraid. i'm still an intern.
 
WHAT WAS YOUR REASON FOR GOING INTO THE FASHION BUSINESS? it was mostly curiousity about the industry. i haven't been quite keen to keep up with fashion trends but i had a phase back in college where i wanted to "fit in". long story short, while that phase ended up bittersweet, i've learnt how clothes could affect one's life.
 
WHY WORK FOR ELLE, SPECIFICALLY, INSTEAD OF OTHER MAGAZINES? elle korea's my first fashion guru, and um, my older sister had pushed me to a couple of fashion magazines—and i managed to get an internship spot.
 
TELL US A FUN PROJECT YOU WOULD LIKE TO DO WHILE IN THE COMPANY. 
i. . .aim to do projects that could alleviate stress within our workplace. a little soundproof booth to scream? emails of encouragement? vibe check ins with honey pops lollies to see the general mood of a department or office? just...spreading small but certain happiness.

WRITING STYLE  third pov, para to multi paras. i'm an angst hoe but always open to a wholesome, slice-of-life genres. i don't have a list of what would trigger me but do state warnings when we plot.
