where it all started.
born to an upperclass family, jung sungil had his life ALL set out for him from the very beginning. he did not take it for granted, using his privilege to pursue the highest degree of dedication for his passions, one of them being his high school sweetheart, who soon became his wife and the mother of his two beautiful children.
he always thought he was lucky for this life. his wife went through every single way of his journey upwards the social hierarchy with him, until he finally reached his dream to open is own law firm. it's a perfect way to end his journey, a conclusion that he long waited for, or so he thought.
it turns out, even when you have everything to offer to someone, not all of them cared enough to stay. their youngest daughter's sudden death shocked the family to the core, and his wife only had him to blame for it. you weren't there enough, she told him, you only cared for you work. when realisation hit, not even his pleas could save their marriage.
