- disappointed his mother by becoming a med student and not becoming a doctor. he settled for bartending instead since he's talented with his head and hands, which he never thought of looking into.
- partially the landlord and informal handyman (without pay), since his mother owns the nice apartment building he lives in.

- the forever bullied youngest child, by his two older sisters. and he still loves being babied, but he won't ever admit it to anyone. he likes feeling dependable which is why he does handyman work for free.
- a good example of a boyfailure. his siblings are relatively no better than him, as they have both "failed" at their past jobs or "settling". haein has yet to find the job that is perfect for him, his sisters and him are always trying. meanwhile their parents had the same careers for their entire lives. family dinners are tense, but still enjoyable when they get past the 'life update' talks.
