Mark was a pleasant, enigmatic boy, born to loving and even doting parents who had his and his sibling's lives planned out much before he could even walk. He had a peaceful home life, even if his parents found him to be too curious for his own good sometimes. He began working at the age of fourteen, telling his parents that he wanted to help pay for an education for him. He read books in the library whenever he wasn't at the schoolhouse or working and he found himself daydreaming constantly as he read. Spending so much time in the town's only library, he met people just like him who were curious and always ready to learn. When he turned sixteen, he would meet the person that changed the trajectory of his life for good.

Falling in love and wanting to start a family in your teens wasn't a big deal back then but the problem for Mark was that he was in love with the absolute wrong person. He was head over heels for a man five years his senior who was the son of a very prominent family in Pinecrest. Their solution then was to meet in private but as their relationship progressed and Mark's heart grew fonder, he suggested they run away together and build a new life. Just bringing it up destroyed everything. His lover became skiddish and distant, always talking about his place in his family. He paid Mark off to break it off quietly and they never spoke again. 

Throwing himself back into books, music, work- anything to keep his mind off of heartbreak, he focused on his self and his family. Everyone around him noticed him behaving differently but they assumed it was the average breakup story. Nobody knew about the torment  of living with a secret so significant and he carried the weight of it for years, keeping his head down and pretending to be fine. When he felt like he had finally  buried that part of himself, he began to date again. He wasn't ready for his second heartbreak to hurt just as bad as the first. She left with a letter to him about starting a family with his very own brother, who'd she leave town with days later. The mess of it left his parents trying to mediate peace but it never came and they never spoke again, the brother cutting contact with all fo them and leaving him to support them alone. At 21, with an injured father and a mother who could only do so much, he was the primary breadwinner.

   The years came slow but he managed to keep up and he even felt time healing his wounds but life was funny and especially loved to laugh in his face. At work, someone he knew as a neighbor since childhood would fource themselves on him. Even with all of his fight, he couldn't keep him off and when the person learned this, they turned this attack into a daily routine. By the time Mark had had enough, he was coming home everyday with bruises all over his body that his parents noticed.  His mom was his motivation to fight back, telling him that "He didn't have to be stronger physically." 

The last encounter with his attacker would be the last time anyone ever saw him. He took the sharpest knife from his kitchen that day and met the man in the wooded land they'd always met in, near a cliff. A conversation, led to an argument, led to a scuffle and as they reached the cliffside, tangled together, Mark got his chance to deal the blow he needed. When he thought the man was gone, he stood carefully but no amount of care would make the rocks under his feet be still and it broke off, taking him with them.

basic summary.

Mark is pleasant and a bit quirky. Due to the fact that he is stuck in a loop where he relives his death everyday, he forgets everything that has happened the day prior. He pretty much resets every single day with no recollection or vague rememberance of the day before but his memories are always broken and messy. He does not remember his life before much but if he tries to, he fades. If he's excitable, it's because he genuinely doesn't remember things like technological development and so on。

Writing & Plotting Style

•.*★ writing style。 I do script and para to novella. Script is generally done in 3rd pov, while para is done in 1st or 3rd pov. Lengthwise, I try to mirror, but I can get carried away fairly easy, so it's not guaranteed.

•.*★ plotting style。 I prefer winging over plotting most times, but I can plot. Because of this, I'll often do vague-ish plots that provide enough detail for you, but also give me enough room to play with our ideas. I also don't typically approach people unless I have a plot or idea in mind, and I really like when people do the same. Saves a lot of time.

•.*★ overall。 I'm very flexible about how we actually rp and will work at your pace if possible. Like, I can do one lining script all the way to novella, in both 1st and 3rd pov. I'm really chill with whatever you wanna do!

Activity & Reply Speed

•.*★ important。 I will never poke you. Never poke me or I will ragequit/ignore you. You also don't need to remind me about me owing you a reply. I usually remember who I'm roleplaying with. Also refrain from using my activity or lack of it as an excuse to pester me about a reply. Doing like that will just annoy me and make me prolong sending something if I send something at all.

I'm usually very slow with my replies, sometimes because of the length, but sometimes because I'm just slow to do them. We can always drop/pick up our thread(s), but make sure you communicate with me. Also know that I might be active in the chat infrequently or a lot. I'm not a very consistent person when it comes to this.

Location Preferences

Honestly, I'll roleplay anywhere I can. I like rooms, walls when I'm busy, and I'm okay with PMs. Most plots I do are public friendly too, and when they aren't, I take them to PMs.
