There was once a family of vampires rooted from the first generations of vampires, the Kang family were one to uphold the ancient rules of the vampires. They were proud of their bloodline as they hailed from the first generation of vampires. However, Seulgi was not so keen to believe such stories as she wanted to see it first before she believed in. As the first born, Seulgi was burdened with the duties by her father who is focused in believing that Seulgi will make their family great again.

However, Seulgi has another goal in life: To break free from these burden that her family believed in. She wanted to venture out there but the only thing that keeps her from reaching that goal is her family and the sunlight. She is open for possibilities that vampires can conquer the sun without the help of magic elixirs or potion.

When Seulgi shared these ideas to her family, they were bewildered. Even her father seemed adamant to her idea and tried to pursuade her not to think of such thing. They said vampires worst enemy is the sun himself and they were cursed by daywalkers from a long time. Being father's daughter, Seulgi is also adamant to those kind of things as she wanted to make it possible for her family to talk through the sun and become much more free.

Yet her father is still stubborn not to believe in her theories and so she began...

Seulgi believe it is possible for them to walk in the sun and she had to test that to herself.

Before dawn, she moved her bed away from the window curtains and opens a small gap in between the curtains for the sun to past through her room. When the day comes, Seulgi carefully lets out her hand, reaching for the light before the sun exposes her skin a little. This stung Seulgi so much but she had to keep her voice down before anyone could spot her doing something 'unthinkable'. She kept doing it every night, seeing that the damaged skin peeling off in a new skin seemed to solidify her theory.

At the age of 18, Seulgi can now expose her whole body in the sun. The warmth that the sun gave must have a little less sting from exposing herself for many years. This made her believe that she can do anything by then, her theory that vampires can walk through the sun without magic potions.

However, when her father had caught her act, he felt disappointed and shocked. But Seulgi's principles had already been established at this point, her family's beliefs are somewhat false. She doesn't believed in their stories anymore after they disregarded her open-mindedness to possibilities.

"Never again will listen to those repetitive words of bloodlines, without seeing, without a proof, it is irrelevant." Seulgi's last words before she fled their home when the sun was out, finally breathing the same air as the daywalkers. Seulgi's smile widen as she can now explore and discover anything and everything she sees while the sun is out.

When her journey started from then, it never ended...

During her journey across the world for years, she experienced watching every civilization rise and fall, wars and peace, chaos and restoration. Her views to the world changed, so as her personality.

When she was in her 500th year, she felt love for the first time. A woman, in her immortal life. An adventurer who has the same open-mindedness as she was once, she wanted to explore the world until her time comes. Seulgi felt the connection between them, and she thought, "Is it possible to fall in love with a human?"

It was.

During their journey, they slowly became closer and closer until they confessed their feelings with each other. This human girl, also has the same feelings as hers. They fell in love.

However, fate can be quite playful in a harsher way...

In a stormy night, Seulgi is on her way to their home when suddenly she heard her lover's scream. She sprinted faster to her home, only to see her lover lying in a pool of her own blood. She couldn't believe what she is witnessing, her lover, was taken in one swift.

Seulgi unleashed her devastating blood whip, damaging and wrecking their beloved home as she mourn and grieve for her lost lover. She tightly holds her cold body in a hug as she cried out in that stormy night. Her fear of storms and rain only reminded her the love that she couldn't save.

Hundred of years later, Seulgi continued her journey with a mask of her positivity, the goofy and clumsy side, masking her cold and serious reality. She had already seen many events in her millenia years and there is no greater good yet there is lesser evil in people.

She eventually discovered Castlebay, when venturing in a secluded forest. There she met people, supernaturals like her, welcomed her. She eventually applied as a professor of History of Vampires.

Seulgi is a goofy and clumsy professor which make the students think she's a new professor or a professor in training. But only a few of them knew that Seulgi is one of the oldest vampires and one of the strongest ones. She can be serious and cunning when people stepped over the boundaries of her patience.
