Kabru's life hasn't been sunshine and rainbows the whole time. That's a given. But he's fine now. Obviously. I mean, look at him, a nursing student in a good university (that he'll be graduating from debt free, by the way!) Sure, he's a little sleep deprived from the mix of classes and clinicals, but he's fine.
Sometimes he dreams of the look his mother gave him before she died, but that's beside the point.
The thing is, hospitals all over the city have been getting fuller. More people are getting checked in every day, claiming they either fell from the sky or ended up on the busiest crosswalk in the city.
The thing is the traits most of these people exhibit are... strange. They believe themselves to be a part of different worlds. Kabru can't understand it, nor does he plan to. All he needs to do is focus on the tasks at hand.
