✶ FOR PLOTTING. plotting takes place strictly in pms. i rather keep my wall clean, like to rp in rooms specifically. if you like my muse's profile and wish to plot, don't be scared or hesitant, shoot me a pm and we can discuss different ideas. genre wise - I like majority of all genres, especially drama, angst, mature themes depending, a little spice is nice, however, romance and fluff are never plotted beforehand, my muse isn't anyone's endgame, I rather that happen naturally if our muses vibe together and they got that chemistry. this character is pretty triggering maybe for some, since it have a lot of paranormal activity background laced behind who she is, with entities and spiritual and paranormal encounters, if it triggers you, don't read further down, thank you. i wanted to try something new so I say, why tf not.

✶ TIME ZONE & PACE. gmt-4 is my timezone and my pace for replies vary. but really I rather slower paced replies, so I take my time and give out a good reply rather than something half-

✶ OOC AGE & MATURE THREADS. I'm a 96 liner and I'm perfectly fine with rated threads, gore and horror and the likes, I'm pretty much open to any and everything, so please feel free to ask.

✶ WRITING STYLE. 3rd detailed, multi-para, length varies, sometimes I may get carried away but I try to refrain from the novella lengths due to burn-out. as of late I just rather short paras like 3 max.

✶ GENRE LIMITS. romance and fluff, I rather happen naturally for chemistry to really be built between the muses.

✶ TAGGING. tag me in all replies please, in case I miss anything, if it's general chatroom, I would check it and be there now and again but again - slow replier in general.

The Story

Part I

Looking at Sabrina, people may think that she was born with a silver spoon in , frankly that was not the case. Sabrina was born in a single parent home, her father leaving her mother for a younger woman, abandoning them when she was only just a kid. Never wishing to meet the man who donated his - she had nothing to do with him, not even when he died of cancer, he was long dead to her anyways. Over the years of growing up, she has sacrificed, watch her mother toil and give up a lot just for her happiness, being an only child was quite lonely. It's how she ended up becoming a target for manifestations in the night - but it wasn't becoming on her randomly. 

In fact, Sabrina went to spend a weekend by her cousins and they had something called a "Ouija Board," one may see it in many horror films, so what's the harm right? First of all, young and dumb kids, following zero rules. Apparently you gotta do so many different things when handling spirits and talking to them, however, the kids thought it was just for kicks, who would've known that reaching out into another realm - there's actually another side? A dangerous side and when something negative, a spirit, an entity, get a whiff of your pure innocent soul, that's it. They latch on and cross right back over. The temptation is real and prominent as day. 

That is what ed up her entire life, it's how Sabrina ended up in this predicament. If asked why her life took a turn for hell, she would give this story. It's sort of how Sab ended up with a demonic entity latched onto her for the remainder of her childhood, teenage and part of her adulthood years.

Ever heard about a demon latching onto you, ever heard about paralysis demons? They may sound fake, but are so very real, more than you would ever know. Sabrina has first hand experience with this and hence, she became a parapsychologist apprentice in training, in order to help others with such things. At age 20 is when it all started, the insomnia, bad dreams, nightmares that feels too vivid to count as just a mere dream, how could it be? Why does she feel this thing, this being, a heavy force pushing her body down against the bed? Choking her, strangling her, she can't move or even shift a bit. Nor could she scream to her mother for help. It was a nightly occurrence, she slipped into a major headstead of depressive episodes, sending her insane to the point where she simply wanted to harm herself so badly that she would be long gone, nonexistent in this world. What kept her trying and going was her loving mother, how could she leave her precious lifeline and ruin her life? 

Her mother was her driving force, by the time it got to be physically abusive with marks around from being strangled, added to bite marks on her inner thighs, by her s and on her arms, even one on her cheek one night, she specifically felt the way the entity violated her. Screaming but her voice never once coming out - it was tragic and one of the worst experiences she ever had to go through. What makes it worse was that Sab was a at the time and she felt violated from head to toe - no longer pure or worthy of finding a man to settle down with and have after marriage. After all, she grew up in a steadfast, religious home and believed in her morals of finding the love of your life, marrying him and then having . 

Times surely have changed because with years of this suffering, time and time again- no one can seem to help her, she partied, smoked, did drugs, any quick fix that could her out of her mind so bad that she can pass out and not feel the way the demon messed with her mind, body and soul. Sabrina turned to the bad side of life, always exposing herself to danger, being depressed majority of her life, never holding a job, never bothering to focus on achieving any goals in life, studies be damned. Her mother was broken seeing her daughter become this person, until, one day, there was an advertisement and program of a parapsychologist and exorcist. Many people voiced and vouched their wholehearted thanks to this man, her mother thought it may be best to try.

What was a very long process, at age 23 she finally became a bit more of herself, it took a matter of two years of work in progress, the man working with her, helping her, healing her and cleansing their home, banishing the entities bothering her, more than one indeed, yes. When he did a read on her, he could've instantly tell that this young woman was special, what people call "being born with a veil over your eye" giving you the "gift", clarity and skill to see beyond the border that separates our world from the other side, the unknown, the paranormal. It's how she ended up becoming his apprentice when she was in her late year of being 23 years old. Becoming who she is today.

Starting her education late was better than never - studying psychology, still doing her psychology degree whereas training under the man who guided her into being who she is today, at age 27 she's a training parapsychologist, not fully graduated and fully established the title properly, but by being born in pinecrest and growing up around such phenomena and finding many jobs, maybe this would be her ticket to becoming the best version of herself. Over the years as she explores this spiritual and gifted side of her, she realized that her grandmother's gift skipped a generation and was passed down to her. The young woman was blessed with the gift of being a revivalist as well as seeing these apparitions and being able to communicate with them on a very personal level.  Sabrina wishes to help people while accomplishing what she came to do, becoming a proper parapsychologist, a full-fledged graduate and reviving ghosts to their human states once she deems them worthy enough and deserving of a second chance. Of course, one should not forget there's a price to pay, a hefty one at that.

Parapsychology

What is a parapsychologist you may ask? Parapsychology is a field of study that investigates paranormal or “psychic" phenomena, including purported mental abilities such as telepathy and telekinesis. Parapsychologists aim to test the existence and explore the nature of experiences and abilities in the paranormal realm. Parapsychology involves the study of a variety of proposed psychic phenomena by scientists and scholars, including the search for evidence of their existence. Among these phenomena are:

• Precognition: perceiving information the future, such as in a vision or dream.
• Clairvoyance: perceiving information about distant locations.
• Telepathy: communicating mind-to-mind (without the use of normal senses).
• Extrasensory perception (ESP): perception that seems to transcend the five senses, encompassing the above terms.
• Psychokinesis or telekinesis: manipulating objects with the power of the mind.
• Out-of-body experiences (OBEs) (such as perceiving one’s own body from above).
• Apparitions and hauntings.
