# personality: most people's first impression of him is that he's a mellow guy with a warm smile, a daydreamer musician who's always up for light conversation. and he is that, but he can also break that very image when hyperactive passion overtakes him. sometimes he just needs to scream to the world about minor inconveniences in his life, you know? it might be startling to people who only know him from his tiktok, to witness the rapidfire speech he launches into when he's feeling wronged, or the crazed, sleep-deprived look in his eyes as he laughs like a madman over nothing. but that's just one side of beomgyu. he's still very much like the charismatic guy he presents himself online as, okay? just... not all the time.

# family: beomgyu comes from a middle-class family of four who showered him w/ love growing up, and were completely supportive when it was discovered that he had more of an artistic soul. he has a younger sister, yujin, whom he shows tough love to. yujin is his biological sister. the reason they have different surnames is because their parents thought it’d be cute if each child took one of their surnames. people often forget they’re related because of this.

# school life: average student who shows up to lectures and puts in effort, just struggles to get assignments in on time. never ask to borrow notes from beomgyu—he doesn't keep things chronological, and for handwritten notes, the margins are filled with poetic lines or flower field doodles. he adores being surrounded by nature (pesky bugs aside), so he likes to hang out in the quad whenever possible. also draws inspiration better from people-watching, so he does that often. lugs his acoustic guitar around campus so much that people find it weird to see him without it.

# social: very active on social media, especially tiktok, where has a decent following. mostly posts videos of him performing original compositions he's made, and some thirst traps sprinkled in between. likes to maintain an aesthetic that is cozy, candid and nature-esque. enjoys talking to people and just learning about their lives, what led them to pursue their majors, etc. beomgyu doesn't hesitate to leave supportive comments under his friends and peers' social posts, and to lend an ear if needed.

# music & work: beomgyu plays guitar (acoustic/electric), piano, and has dabbled a little in learning bass. to not disturb his room/dormmates, he often practices in the campus music studios; and in outdoor settings, the quad is his favorite area. he currently works part-time as a barista, usually on the evening shifts. he gets free rein over what type of music the cafe plays, and while he doesn't deviate much from the soft music playlists, every so often he'll sneak in one of his works and observe the general reception. if asked about it, he'll happily boast about himself and his work.
