chapter one
the Giftt.
a noble male omega from the jiang pack reduced to a concubine for the ruthless leader of the wen's. corruption stains his mind early on from the years of influence he was made to live under. bearing a son only worsening the cracks in an already broken mind. and even worse: his son, born an omega. although he could never fully deny the blood that ran through his veins as a jiang, he also accepted his fate long ago as the prize to have been won. the only thing he could do to have the slightest bit of control? make sure his son never forgets whose blood he carries. he teaches the values of peace, patience, and kindness. all contradictory to who the baby's father is. even as he has to force a pill down his child's throat to pretend to be something he is not. unwittingly, though perhaps knowingly, propping his child up for competition with the oldest son as heir to the wen clan. the inside world should love his child just as he does but it's a shame he won't be able to see him grow up.
