Hyungseo was born into a family of ruthless warriors, known for their strength within the Wen pack. Her father, once a celebrated protector of the pack, had earned a reputation as a formidable warrior—until the accident that changed everything. Plagued by nightmares and haunted by what he called "voices of the damned," he turned to alcohol to drown out his undiagnosed and untreated PTSD. 

One fateful night, in a drunken rage, her father clashed violently with her older brother. The confrontation was catastrophic, leaving her family shattered and childless. Disgusted by her husband's actions, Hyungseo's mother quietly began poisoning his liquor. Yet before he succumbed to what others believed was "sickness," she became pregnant with Hyungseo.

Born just before her father’s death, Hyungseo grew up in the shadow of her family’s dark legacy. Whispers of her mother’s suspected treachery spread throughout the pack, but no evidence was ever found. The household she grew up in was steeped in resentment and turmoil, and Hyungseo quickly learned to lash out—her misbehavior a desperate bid for attention, her violence an instinctive response to conflict.

As she matured, Hyungseo learned to temper her rage, though it remained a defining part of her. Enrolling at Fenrir Academy refined her ferocity, teaching her not only how to harness her anger but also how to conceal her true intentions. Now, she wields her rage with precision, her control a weapon as sharp as her fury. 

Hyungseo is a master of duality. Outwardly, she is charming and approachable, seamlessly blending in with her peers at Fenrir Academy. She has a sharp wit, a warm smile, and plenty of friends who see her as both confident and fiercely loyal. Beneath this exterior, however, lies a deeply protective and unyielding force of nature. She is someone who thrives in control and doesn’t tolerate being crossed. Those who challenge or threaten her—or worse, her younger sister—quickly discover the depths of her ferocity. Hyungseo never acts without purpose; her retribution is precise, calculated, and devastating, leaving no trail to incriminate her.

Her younger sister is her anchor, the one person for whom she would burn the world down if necessary. Hyungseo’s protective instincts shape much of her life, sparking conflicts she effortlessly navigates to ensure her sister’s safety and happiness. Though her upbringing was steeped in pain and resentment, she channels that darkness into an unmatched ability to manipulate, intimidate, or destroy as needed. Despite this, Hyungseo isn’t consumed by her rage—she knows how to compartmentalize it, keeping her darker side hidden behind the persona of a bright, capable student. But when lines are crossed, she doesn’t hesitate to remind everyone exactly why she should never be underestimated.
