sana gives off princess aesthetic vibes but her truth couldn't be far from that. Coming from a rural area in the lan clan, a quiet and a less prominent village created a lot of judgment and sense of gossipy behavior. The type that would take down or be the down fall of any village whatsoever. With sana, it was no different, being an only child and watching her parents struggle through their life— she was left feeling helpless because the others judged their social status, thinking they could never be good enough. Rather than great hunters or trackers or mentors or wise physicians and the likes, her mother and father had a little home garden where they would go out on the streets and try to make a living via selling. This was hopeless since people scorned them and didn't necessarily want to buy from them. Eventually as sana grew older with Dylan by her side, a childhood friend, childhood flame — they've always had a crush on each other and really, she could say he was the only best friend she had. No judgment whatsoever, he wanted her to enable her gifts and do better, always encouraging her. Her parents thought a better life for their daughter would arise if she's married to him, however, his parents didn't want any part of that.
