• family is very religious (Christian catholic)
• very conservative background: LGTBQ+ is a sin, atheists and followers of other religions are lost souls in need of saving, before marriage is a sin, we must be examples for the community, praying before every meal, every night before bed, daily rosary prayer and, of course, Church on Sundays... usually Wednesday evenings as well
• recently transferred to this university from another city, at the behest of his father who wants him closer to the family

personality

• holds his cards very close to his chest
• shocked by some of the things he's heard here, and is still adjusting
  eg: a ed professer who gives 'ion' as an assignment
  eg: a student openly hitting on his professor
• passive observer type
• wary and suspicious of basically everyone *exception: priests during confessions*
• uncomfortable letting others into his private space (so having a roommate is not great atm)

• attends church, reads the bible and prays several times a day but... is not fully convinced about God
• enjoys studying theology because he is fascinated by the power religion holds over people, his family being the prime example
• craves power and control
• has some very dreams about both genders
• not a , has slept with women before but feels bad about it (because of the teachings that one should stay pure until marriage)
