even as a child Rarely was Sunwoo allowed outside. Especially when there was news going around about anything pertaining to the royal family. he grew up learning to fear them. He grew up learning how to hide and how to plead for his own life. that was enough to ensure he never wanted to come face to face with any royal ever.

Even now he avoids news of the royal family like the plague. he never engages in conversation where they are involved either. More out of fear that a royal will somehow overhear and come after anyone part of the conversation.

His father, a truly horrible person, used to beat him until he couldn't move. Sunwoo would often be locked away, sometimes for days without food or water. WHy? Practice. That's what his father always said. His mother... Did she do anything to stop this? Nope. Not a thing. She was afraid of Sunwoo's father just as much as Sunwoo was. Neither even fought back. Until the day sunwoo had enough. Finally fighting back. Ending the torture with one action... An action that rid him and his mother from the coward's abuse. To this day Sunwoo won't talk about what happened. Nor will he talk about his father.
