on yujun (온유준/温维俊) is the marquess of the house of on. aged twenty-nine, his name means "preserving hero". he was given the title and responsibility after gossips about the elder on son's romantic preferences surfaced. in a preemptive attempt to protect the family's image and reputation, the elder on son relinquished his title to the younger on son. since then, yujun carries the name of the on house with confidence and dignity. 

due to family traditions, on yujun joined the royal army to serve the king. He stood out among his peers for his excellent swordsmanship, while also receiving attention for his pragmatic schemes. This strategic method of fighting caught the attention of the Prince Regent, who was impressed by his skills and found use in his style. Now, On Yujun serves as the Prince Regent’s personal bodyguard. 

since he was a child, yujun had difficulty identifying and conveying his thoughts and emotions. due to his lack of expressions, many misunderstood him to be cold and heartless. his questions stemming from genuine inquisition were taken as the loud monologues of a budding sociopath. fortunately or not, they still answered most of his questions with their own honesty.

The marquess house of on received their title when general on Yongwi led his troop to glory in securing land and fending off invaders. Many soldiers were fallen during the battle, and Yongwi’s troop was expected to fall back. However, through Yongwi’s determination and courage, they managed to fight back against their adversaries and protect the King’s rightful territory.
