haeyi hails from a family of doctors (sans her baby sister who got lucky enough to be blessed with the superior genes), so it's a no-brainer that she joined the roster as well, despite having the talent and brains to become an architect (her actual childhood dream, but who even cares?). being in the medical field entails a lot of sacrifices–her social life being one of them. haeyi can't seem to keep a relationship for long; it's either she's "too detached" or "too busy" or "too smart" for her partners, and at this point she's just ready to give up on getting married altogether, opting to instead get into superficial connections that do nothing to alleviate the loneliness she tries very hard to ignore.
