Lee Dongho and Lee Miyeon adopted Siwoo at the age of 3 due to infertility issues. His mother, Miyeon, was warm, nurturing, and fiercely protective. His father, however, was a distant, brooding, and authoritative, whose rare moments of acknowledgment felt more like obligations than genuine care. When Dongho wasn't failing at being a father, he was heavily involved in Seoul's Inferno Serpents gang, being their lap dog. Although his mother tried shielding him from their family's darker dealings, it didn't change his harsh reality plagued by violence and trauma. When his mother mysteriously vanished, his father became more hostile and declared it was time for Siwoo to "pay back" the life he'd been given.

In addition to being Inferno's lap dog, Siwoo dedicated himself to becoming a police officer presenting it as a means to further support the gang’s interests from within the corrupt confines of the law. But his real goal was to figure out what happened the night of his mother's death. Her death was abrupt and left him with questions far too complicated for a mere child to comprehend. It didn’t help that every lead ended in a dead end as if someone were deliberately cutting off every trail he uncovered.

Although his marriage was arranged, the partnership was a pleasant one, albeit toxic and dark at times. However, his obsession with bringing justice to his mother took a toll on his marriage when he learned that his supposedly infertile mother was 3 weeks pregnant after returning from Wineport. After the messy divorce, Siwoo moved to Wineport to uncover any leads. (lmao I got lazy)
