admin guidelines: how to raise issues, suggestions, or feedback

scroll for further information.

to ensure a fair and enjoyable roleplay environment, i encourage open and respectful communication. if you have any concerns, suggestions, or feedback, please follow these steps:

1. provide context and evidence:
when raising an issue, please include as much context as possible. if applicable, provide screenshots or other relevant evidence to help me understand the situation.

2. submit via group pm:
to submit your concern, start a group pm and include me in it. this keeps everything organized and allows for open communication.

3. investigation process:
i will gather information from three sides:

  • your side (party a)
  • the other side (party b)
  • the community’s perspective (if needed)

i aim to remain impartial and resolve issues based on facts, not assumptions.

4. resolution timeline:

  • minor concerns: updates within 3–5 days.
  • complex issues: updates within 1–2 weeks.

please be patient, as thorough investigations and resolutions take time.

5. anonymous feedback:
if you’re uncomfortable raising your concern directly, you can submit it anonymously through [insert tool, e.g., google form].

while i encourage open communication, anonymous feedback will still be reviewed seriously. however, please note that anonymous concerns will be scrutinized more thoroughly to prevent slander or bullying. additionally, you may need to understand that the resolution may not fully meet your expectations, as working directly with an anonymous sender is not possible.

maintaining a healthy admin role
as the sole admin, i’m committed to ensuring this space stays positive and fair for everyone. to do so, i also need to maintain my well-being, which helps me support the community effectively. please be mindful of the following to help keep things running smoothly for all of us.

1. avoid escalating unnecessary issues:

  • not every disagreement requires admin intervention. minor ic conflicts or misunderstandings can often be resolved amicably between roleplayers.
  • if you’re writing an ic action that impacts another character’s storyline—like making a big, public gesture of love or revealing a major plot twist involving another character—you must get permission from all parties involved first. if you're called out for not getting that consent, apologize and work with the writer to redo the scene. don’t get defensive or dismissive, even if it wasn't intentional. respect goes both ways. and yes, situations like this might be an 'aita' moment—so let’s avoid making it one.

2. admin availability:
if i need to step away temporarily for reasons, i will notify the group in advance and share plans for handling issues during my absence.

3. respect admin decisions:
i will always strive to be fair, but please understand that my decisions are made to benefit the community's overall health.

future updates or rule changes
as the roleplay grows, i may adjust rules or guidelines to reflect the community's needs. any changes will be clearly communicated with ample notice, ensuring everyone is aligned and on the same page.

this post will be pinned on my character's wall for reference. feel free to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions for improvement! thank you for helping make this community a safe and creative space for everyone.
