Cinnabar's first memory is being around 3 years old in a group home. She was sitting by a window watching a boy from the group home being taken back home by the parents he had been reunited with, and as much as Cinnabar wished it would happen to her, even at the age of three she knew it would never be.
Cinnabar grew up in the group home, never being adopted or fostered out to families for any longer than a week. Throughout her childhood she developed a desperate need to be wanted by others and began doing whatever she could to be useful to those around her in the hopes that they'd finally accept her.
Cinnabar finally left the group home to come to Halfyon Academy and is determined to break out of her shell and actually find some friends.
