【 Basic Information 】
Lee Taeyong || Appears to be in their 20s || They/He || Bi-Aroace || Cyborg
【 Background Ideas 】
- A braindead patient whose family cut off life support after accepting the reality that their child will never return.
- Their body never made it to the funeral, having been replaced by a dummy while the actual body was preserved for experimentations.
- The organic brain was removed and in its stead, an artificial replica was implanted.
- Much like a computer, the artificial brain only contained the necessary information to function a body; any additional information must be fed to it manually.
- Higher powers soon got hold of Taeyong and used them as a weapon of war, inserting data on battle strategies and killing methods while removing their ability to feel compassion or pain.
- Followed the orders of their superiors without question, marching into warzones without a care for their livelihood, mind only set in winning the fight and returning with the spoils of their battles.
- Their lack of conscience, coupled with their inability to feel pain, allowed them to tear through battles without fear or agony, much to the delight of the people who owned them.
- During one such battle, the troupe suffered heavy losses, and Taeyong was buried amidst the pile of corpses; their limbs were blown off, rendering them immobile.
- With no way to help themselves, they shut down to preserve their energy, turning back on when they felt their body being moved; imagine the looks of horror and shock on the cleaners' faces when they realised Taeyong was still "alive".
- They were brought to "repairs", having their missing limbs replaced with cybernetics, adding more mechanical parts to their flesh.
- The engineers in charge of their prosthetics realised the functions of their mainframe and decided to add artificial intelligence, allowing them to think and absorb information by themselves instead of waiting for an outside force to manually feed them data.
- During the time they were missing in action and out of commission, the organisation they worked for was overthrown, leaving them with nowhere to return to.
- Their lack of identity led them to be enslaved, awaiting the next person of power to utilise their characteristics for their own gains.
