Niran was the son of a former princess of Tajukine, known for her deviousness and affiliation with the Noxyn Order. His mother became infatuated with a master and followed him, only to realize she had been reduced to a mere mistress despite her noble heritage. Niran's birth was difficult, putting his mother and himself in danger, which caused his father to resent them both as weak and unworthy. Growing up, Niran faced constant bullying from his half-siblings, who were the children of his father's lawful wife. A tragic ‘incident’ left him severely injured and blind at the young age of only 8 years. His mother then sent him back to Tajukine, prioritizing her obsession over her own son. She hoped to redeem herself by scheming and bearing another child for the man. Meanwhile, Niran lived in the palace, learning how to use kavana to compensate for his disability and ‘see’. Hushed rumors and gossip surrounding him everywhere that he was just as immoral and cunning as his mother.
