Chan is an active person. If he isn't at the gym, working in the studio, or at schedules, then he is often outside or finding something to occupy himself because he'd feel guilty otherwise. He is someone that believes every moment should be spent trying to better himself in some way or assisting his dongsaengs to do so as well. Working hard to accomplish a goal, educating himself in a new language or skill, getting good at a sport. He will find something to throw all his energy into. The only way he really slows down and "does nothing" is if someone else makes him. And then he's doing that for them, so it really isn't indolence.

Chan is an extremely tactile person and certain sensations easily overwhelm him. He really can't stand things like scratchy clothing material, tags, or knit-wear because of how it irritates his skin. He'll wear things to promote, of course, but that's not by his choice. Once the mission is accomplished, those items are coming off. Also, certain intense tastes don't agree with him. Coffee isn't something he enjoys drinking. Soda bothers him because of the carbonation. Spicy food makes him transcend reality. Even ice water irks him.

Being needed by others gives Chan fulfillment. He loves to feel useful. He wont think twice about lending someone an ear when they're upset or offering them comfort. But even without being asked, Chan goes out of his way to do things for others. He keeps the dorm tidy (though that also serves him because he does it late at night when he can't sleep to get himself tired). He'll keep cooking so that the members can eat as much as they want without hassle. He'll forego eating chicken and other things he likes if he thinks someone wants it more.

Getting into a serious relationship is not something Chan is actively looking for. He knows that his schedule is far too busy to commit to what most people consider a "typical" partnership. However... he is a bit of a hopeless romantic and has a lot of affection to give. So much so that he finds it hard to consider limiting it to just one person. He doesn't see why he can't give love to multiple people, as long as all parties are open to it.

Chan is the equivalent of the "you just have to say you're fine, but you're not really fine" meme. In comparison to his hardened persona when Stray Kids was first formed, Chan has opened up over the years, but he still has reservations about burdening the younger members with the broken parts of himself. If he's going through a tough time, he will become more quiet and withdraw into himself, usually spending long hours in the studio to shut out his thoughts with droning beats. Sometimes it's just a matter of him getting over whatever is bothering him by taking the time to analyze it and compartmentalize it if it's not important. Yet other times, he can't shake it and it starts compounding his insomnia and his poor appetite. That's when he could use a shoulder to lean on and being okay with asking for that is something he needs to work on.

Chan is, overall, a submissive partner. He loves to please others. So he often will take on a sub/soft/service top or switchy bottom role. As he was the youngest in JYP for a while, most of his ual exploits have been with older men, as he likes the stability they provide. He has an unspoken rule that his own members are off limits, because he has too many fears about things getting messy (but feel free to prove him wrong).

I am incredibly laid back and flexible. If you want to drop a thread, just let me know and we can move on to something else. don't feel bad about dropping threads. if you've lost muse, i would prefer if you definitively drop it rather than being left here to wait on a reply that will never come. i wont be -hurt and i don't need a reason. all i ask for is transparency. i don't care about waiting on replies, so long as i know it'll come eventually. i'm a patient person. do not interact if you attract/engage in ooc drama or have a character that has active suicidal ideation. that is my only trigger.

i am flexible with my writing style (lit. novella and action/script are all fine). i don’t expect anyone to match my post lengths if i get wordy. sometimes i just brain dump when i’m writing and it ends up way longer than i ever intended and i apologize in advance for that. keep in mind, replies to longer threads may take more time depending on time constraints.

i do not plot romance ooc without having characters interact. deeper connections all depend on how the characters jive and i can’t determine that until we throw them at each other. so do not expect romance outright. the best romance plots often come by surprise anyway!

please keep in mind that reply speeds may vary. i will reply to threads as i have muse for them, not necessarily in the order the threads were started. but i will try my best to prioritize replies in order. i prefer to have only one thread going on with a muse at a time because different plots require different mindsets. if i am inundated with threads between our characters, i wont be able to give them all proper attention. however, i do make exceptions to have one regular thread and one nsfw thread just for the sake of balance.
