Greetings from Princess Chaerin of the Ocean Village

 

Who am I?

I am Princess Chaerin. Ruler over the Ocean Village. I may not look like one most of the time but don't be fooled. I am a very understanding person. I am willing to help others in need. But, beware I am different than others. I do like to have fun. I'm still young so I don't like to do most things. If you find me outside my castle, it because I need some fresh air.

 

My Past

Born to the King and Queen of Ocean Village on the 26th day of the 2nd month. I was always an adventurous girl, especially at the young age of 6 years. I was also very lonely. So the result was that I was kind of quiet. 

One day I decided, that I should leave the castle to go make some new friends. Overlooking the fact that my parents said I should never leave the castle or something dreadful would happen, I snuck quietly out of the front gate and into the village. There I met some friends: Sandara, Bom, and Minji. They were like family to me, even if I only knew them for one day. I was completely unaware that back at the castle, my mother was terribly worried that someone may have kidnapped me. My father decided that he could not just send guards to go out and look for me, he had to do that himself. Making his way to the village, in his disguise, someone who totally despised my father, threw a sac over my fathers head and threw him into the big, blue ocean. Killing him instantly. On arriving home, I was greeted with tears and scolding from my mother. I had no clue what was going on. It was only the next day that I knew about my fathers death. Making conversation with my mother was no use. She didn't even talk to herself. I was completely shut off from the world. No one to talk to. No family. No friends. Only the air that brushed through my chamber every now and then.

'Til this day my mother has not said a word to me. I am free to leave the castle when I please. But I will never forgot what my disobedience had lead to.
