I'll try to write as much as possible and not give one-liners. Please excuse my crappy writing, but I'm attempting to improve it! If you give me an one-liner, however, I will most likely reply with one line as well. My replies are usually pretty fast, but on occasions they will take a while. Excuses? Homework and sleep OTL.

Personality: Typically an outgoing person, she is shy around new people and it might take a while to get through her seemingly tough personality. Although she is somewhat of a social butterfly, this tomboy has a fairly fiery temper. Irritate her, and she will not hesitate to snap at you. With a low patience level, Amber can be quite annoying to deal with.  However, she is a loyal friend and her sarcasm, which can be directed at anyone and everyone, is simply an acquired taste. A blunt person, Amber is not afraid to speak her mind. However, she also needs a lesson in thinking before speaking and acting as her bluntness occasionally comes off as rude.

Background: She came from a pretty normal family  where it was only her and her mother but she was used to it. As a kid, Amber always asked questions about who her father was but only got 'He was a handsome and kind man' as an answer. It wasn't long before she stopped asking about her father.
In school, she joined several sports, though track and field was always the one she signed up for as soon as she could. The androgynous girl always loved running as a child. A bit of a jock, she was never really extremely popular. People didn't like her image and would try to heckle her during  her games and even in class. It had begun in elementary school when she first cut her hair, and it had continued on until she went to Camp Half-Blood.

Her discovering of her heritage was a pure accident. Having stayed after a track practice, she had accidentally brushed past a tree branch  full of wilting flowers and made the flowers vibrant and living again. Little did she know that she was being followed, and was more than surprised when someone picked up the branch she had brushed past and showed it to her. The stranger led her to the camp, assuring that her mother would be informed and that she had in fact been waiting for this day to come. Once they reached the camp, the stranger disappeared as mysteriously as he had appeared, and Amber was left to enter the camp alone. She never got to know the stranger's name, and though it's already been two years, she still hopes that she could meet him again and thank him for telling her who her father is and for showing her her half-brothers.
