“ Lonliness is what causes the most pain...”

DaeHyun lived in various foster homes his whole life, never being able to stay in a home for more than a few months. Apparently his mother had abandoned him as a child, chosing to give up her kid.  He soon found himself contantly hiding and evading monsters around the age of  12. He had been in trouble many times for running away from the foster homes, until one day, when he was 13, a faun appeared to him. He'd been told he was a demi-god, but obviously being a young child, he didn't believe it until it seemed that he was 'claimed' by Pluto... or Hades as he later came to know. 

At first, he refused to go to  Camp Jupiter, refusing to keep in contact with any of his deitic ancestry..  He continued to evade foster homes,  destroying monsters with his newfound abilities. But at the age of fifteen, a serious attack left him wounded and nearly dead. It made him decide to it up and join Camp Jupiter as he should have in the beginning.  His education in what he thought was just fantasy becam real to him as he learned about various types of monsters and all of the minor and major gods. 

He still held resentment towards most people, and wasn't the easiest person to talk to, but made a few friends here and there.  Two years later though, he was selected to be the exchange demigod for Camp Half-Blood. The Greek camp. 

He now resides in the Hades cabin, wondering if he should have come here or not....

Who knows what this camp holds in store for him?
