Backstory:May 15, 1989 for most just another day of there lives. For Lee Soonkyu it was just the start of the Hell she was soon to meet.

 

From a young age Soonkyu was never a unfriendly person, but with the hardships and pressure her after Put on her she became very Agressive as a child, always fighting and getting into a lot of fights and constanly mean-mugging students and teachers. Tough a rebilous child she was a grade A student, constantly doing her work and studying for tests. After about the spand of 6th grade, Soonkyu showed sings of promise in speed and her reaction, always grabbing things before they had time to fall, leading her little leauge team in stolen bases for baseball and being the star running back for her midget leauge team. Now it's at this point and time where she started to be less Agressive and her father didnt like that, so he yanked her from the comfert of grade school, home schooled her,and started her in the Art of the Samurai. 

 

Now Soonkyu wasn't the only one going through this, her best friend Young Mi, her fater and Young Mi's father were assassins, blades for hire in privite wars throughout Asia, Soonkys Father ranked best not to be forgotten Young Mi's father second. They both shared the same view, they wanted there daughters to take over after there time as the  best assassians  around. Now they went to the same school, and both excelled in there categories. 

 

By age 12 Young Mi and Soonkyu had gotten very close, almost  every time you saw one the other wasn't far away, They had excelled higher than all of there class by so much they were alredey mastering there arts,  Soonkyu was mastering The Hiten Mitsurugi style wich was a given option for her only because of her amazing nartual speed and reaction time. Practitioners of this style use a combination of near-superhuman speed and agility (known as Shinsoku, or godspeed), battōjutsu and an acquired, observation-based pseudo-clairvoyance in order to avoid the attacks of their opponents by the least possible margin and with the least possible effort in order to place themselves in the perfect position to strike in the very instant the opponent's strike misses and stresses two-step attacks in order to ensure that any and all who oppose it are thoroughly slain.

 

Young Mi was a brute with strength for such a petite girl, so she took up the art of Watōjutsu. Watōjutsu is a style that focuses on a high enough offense so that defense isn't necessary. The style is shown to be a near-perfect counter for the techniques used in Hiten Mitsurugi-Ryū. Though Soonkyu was her friend she planned ahead hoping choseing a style created to deflate hers would help in the event of swords clashing,wich she feared, she never wanted to hurt Soonkyu and the feeling was mutual, but they would should there paths cross on a Battlefelid.

 

By the Age of 16 they graduated as masters of there arts and quickly followed the footsteps of there parents as Murrders. Needless to say they were amazing at it. They soon replaced there parents in rank, Soonkyu was top and Young Mi was second. The two soon agreed to make the ranking so that they had equal levle and if you wanted to claim top or second you had to squar off against the two as a Duo. They soon would not accapte to be in wars unless there counterpart was hired and paied as well.

 

At 19 The two ruled the world as Sookuy finally got a nickname that wasn't so bad from her friend. At this age Young Mi was a very depressed girl, So Soonkyu was alway trying to cheer her up after a bloody battle the two were covered in blood as Soonkyu was hit by a stray bullet so her arm was kinda messed up, Young Mi took her cloth and whipped off her Face and just remarked "Thanks for always being my Ray of sunshine Soonkyu" and after a while came up with the idea to call Her Sunny. Soon after the two fell madly in love with each other. They had plans of  Retiring and Marrying soon. After a while due to family issues they two split up and went home for a break.

 

Just a Year later after a bombing on Kyoto, The Yakuza and Traids started war, Nedless to say Soonkyu was called in to help. After so much bloodshed it turned into a repeat of Fedual Japan. Though Soonkyu was invloved very much the war lasted for two years, still no word from her Love Soonkyu was worried to death every week asking on the condition of Young Mi till onde day, one of the runners of the Yakuza brough her a letter after battle. She noticed that hand writing from anywhere it was her Lover. She read it with glee and joy as she informed she was also in this war. She figured she was in a Diffrent camp fighting with her for the Yakuza. She had gotten hope that they wernt lieing she was alive and well. 

Finally it came, The Triads were corrnerd in the city of Sekigahara. As Though they were outnumber they seemd to wipe out all the sent forces. Soonkyu had mopped up some leftover runners as she made her way to Stronghold of the Triads, Nedless to say she needless to say she made quick work of the Garuds till she reached the rooftop. It was muddy and storming, Nedless to Say Soonkyu was for sure this was the head honcho, the last thing standing in her way if getting paied so she and Young Mi could retire.  As the fighting started the Demond in Soonkyu came out, in her mind she had blacked out and lost all control till the battle was over.

 

For Young Mi behind her mask her world stood still as she noticed her Lover confront her on the roof and it was needless to say her heart was in shambles. She didnt even want to draw her sword but she knew she had a job to do as the soul survivor, she knew it was just the two of them left. After hours of countless fighting Soonkuy got the felling that that fighting stance was all to familiar and that whoever this person was they were good. As the two lovers fought to the death among the building Soonkyu was Gerting tired she knew her foe was too she, she knew, it was time to end it. As she musted up all she had she made her last attack count Useing the final atack of her Way of the Sword. As she nicknamed it "The Drangons fang and claw" As it hit it left a deep gash on Young Mi's Chest, and nipped her mask so as she flew to the sky it fell off. As Soonkyu heard her name called she almost cried turning around knowing the voice. She ran over to her scooping her up in her arms crying cause she knew she was dead no matter what the treatment. Young Mi breathed shallowly and spoke" Babe, don't cry....please I hate to see you cry." Soonkuy only rebutted"Whyndidnt you say anything! You knew it was me the whole time" She cried out. Young Mi's only comment was "We had jobs to do, as assassins......Sunny....can I....please have that first kiss.....we should hav had in Edo......" Soonkuy didn't speak through her sobs and filet the spark and fireworks even though she was dieing. Then after a while she felt the spark fade and her lips go motionless. Soonkyu only rolled her eyes down and shut them as she spent the next few hours. As the Rest of the goverment and the clean up came in they Looked for Soonkyu to congratulate but all they found was a note pinned on a katana in the ground next to Young Mi's body. It was her resignation.

 

After two years if failing to live a normal life Soonkyu changed her name To Sunny Lee. Embracing her Lovers nickname for her making it so that it left behind a past life making her old name special, as a bond between her and her ex. Sunny kept moving and no matter how hard she friend her gifts just made people hate her so she finally enrolled in The rising sun Acadmey. She feels that she has masters her power over the years and really came here as to be tests and treated as an equal. She belives no one can replace her lover and that she will die alone.
