Yao Mingming was born and raised in Southern China. His dad is a company worker and eventually the whole family followed him to South Korea. Mingming just recently arrived, graduated high school in Korea and is now attending university there. His parents - in an attempt to make him into a 'real man' - sent him to an All-Boys University. His childhood and teenage life was pretty normal. Wake up, go to school, sleep at school, study, study, study, sleep, wake up, go to school, etc. Friends? No time for that. And so he grew to be very interested in other people, but it never occurred to him to actually approach and talk to them. University really made him flourish as he now possesses possibly the largest network in the city. He knows people who know everybody, he has his fingers in everything, he's like a walking security camera. He can get to information, faster that you can buy a cup of coffee. Mingming likes to observe from afar and in that spirit, he studies journalism and entertains the University Tabloid. Occasionally, this also forces him to observe from a little closer.. He's got to be careful though. Get too close to the sun and you'll get burned, right?

Mingming is a nice, 19 year old guy, very energetic in his own, introverted kind of way. Parties aren't his thing and he never likes to be in the limelight, rather he prefers to be the one who tells everyone about said limelight. He's constantly searching for the new 'Story of the Day' he can feed his readers via the University News Tabloid. Basically, he's a stalker, very nosy and a busy-body. Mingming doesn't meet up with friends, doesn't do small-talk and in general doesn't talk about himself. His life revolves around the lives of others.. which is kind of sad, but whatever. It's not like he dislikes talking, nor is he shy towards strangers... he's just not used to being given attention. Mind you, this doesn't bother him in the slightest, he got used to it and would be very confused and disoriented, would it be any other way.
