The back story- 

From a young age, Hangeng knew he was different, being born in fire does that to you. Although a demon, Hangeng decides to live his life differently, he doesn't want to be a part of the blood and hell that this world has to offer him. He wants to live in peace and to see his opposing race and his own get along. With a brave heart, Hangeng left his home of China and travelled to South Korea in the hope of finding his dreams fulfilled. Now he works at a cafe near his small home and offers help at the local library in his free time as well as teaching Chinese at a nearby college, he enjoys the quiet life but little did he know, he'd find angels and demons sprawling everywhere he looked, maybe the hand of fate has a little more in store for him. Or maybe, maybe he really is just damned.
