Kai had a pretty normal life at one point, but soon everything came crashing down on him after he came out of the closet to the people he held close to his heart. He was disowned by his strict parents because he "dishonored the family", his friends seemed like they cared at first, only to completely turn on him when they got to know more about it, like who he was dating. Eventually his friends started to bully him and his boyfriend, but his boyfriend ended up getting the shorter end of the stick..His boyfriend was bullied so much that it drove him to suicide. Kai was so devastated--he lost his family, boyfriend, and friends. He decided to forget about love, and trust and go to New York where he could focus on dancing for the rest of his life. But then, one day when he was dancing, he fell of the stage at the bar he was dancing at and broke his leg, so he wasn't able to dance for months. This was a bit of a good thing though, because he was finally able to realize how much he missed this thing called "love". Now he is on a quest to find it once again, hopefully it doesn't end up as badly as before though.
