background - this is who i am*
Hongbin was just like any other child back at home — he was cheeky, and playful. He loves to eat pizzas, snuggle on the couch with his father, and playing soccer with his friends. He had a lot of problem as a child. His eyesight was very bad. He had to wear spectacles when he was merely 3 years old. His father was concerned about his eyesight, but it was never something that bothered the young Hongbin. He suffered from ADHD and dyslexia too. Most of the time, he couldn't pay attention and sit still. In school, he reads much slower than others, and he can never remember names, unless you are close to him.
It wasn't until when he was 13, when his world changed. He had a sudden growth spurt, and reached the height of 181 cm, he started to shut people out of his circle, and he rarely went out anymore. People around him assumed that it was just every teenager's rebellious phase, but even after four years, when he turned seventeen, nothing changed. He lost his bright smile, and he rarely spoke anymore. Also, he ended up dropping school because he "freaks" out people in school, because he is different, and has outbursts sometimes, where he just can't sit still.
His father, suspected that something was wrong with him. He thinks that the young adult was mentally ill, a little loose in the brains. He then sent the young adult to his aunt's place, where he lived for the next 3 years.
His aunt was unlike his father. She was much more patient, and caring. Under her care, he opened up, just a little. He went back to school, and continued his studies. But things did not last. People shunned him, because he is said to be a 'walking curse'. Every time someone gets too prideful, and arrogant, that person would be cursed with something — like losing their valuables, or having an unlucky day. And every single time, without fail, he would be near them, as if cursing them. He got expelled somehow (some b*tch probably reported him), and he was homeschooled. He didn't have any friends, and he was lonely.
Three years later, his aunt introduced him to Camp Half-Blood, and asked if he wants to go to the camp. He reluctantly accepted the offer — and went into the camp, with no idea what kind of place it was. Well, he thought it was a place where students go there to plant strawberries as volunteer work.
Upon arriving at the camp, he found out that he was wrong — this is a camp for demigods. His aunt laughed at his ignorance, and told him that she knew, or at least, suspected that he is a demigod, he has ADHD, and also dyslexia, which is common among demigods. Hongbin was annoyed, he did not want to be left at a place all alone, with demigods all around. His aunt convinced him somehow, and left him there, with Mr. D, where he was taken care of.
Although he is the son of Nemesis, he is rather clumsy and tends to trip over things. He is quite bad at balancing - but he is definitely better at cursing and revenge. Maybe, if he is lucky enough, he wouldn't trip, but he would be stumbling around. Well, conclusion: he's really clumsy and naive.

His ability is to create minor curses. It can be any sort of curse, as long as it is nothing too serious. His targets are usually arrogant people, or prideful people that get on his nerves. Also, he punishes people who takes advantage of the weak. He takes away things that a person is blessed with, when the person flaunts and boasts. He likes to bring peace, and equality to everyone, and dislikes the stronger that bullies the weaker.
His spectacles are his source of power. He takes his spectacles off whenever he is cursing someone, clutching it tightly. His spectacles would glow, while his eyes would turn blood red, as he murmur the curse under his breath. Most of the time, he would just be wearing his spectacles normally. So, when his spectacles are off, stay away and don't mess with him. During battles, he usually don't take part in the physical fight. Instead, he uses his power, and place a minor curse to help whoever he thinks that is in a disadvantage during the fight.
However, when his powers get to the extreme point, usually in extreme cases, he would not restrain his ability, and go all out. The deadliest power he hold within himself is a curse that seals away the life of a person. In short, the person cease to exist, at least in this world. Usually in this situation, he will crush his spectacles, and it will release the unlimited power in him.
He keeps a lucky charm with him, where ever he goes. The lucky charm is from his aunt, to give him luck and to protect him. It is a treasure to him. It has a little bit of magic in it, that helps him to calm down whenever he gets too active or impulsive.
When he is in combat mode, his spectacles turns into a gauntlet which he wears on his left hand. This gauntlet allows him to fight against creatures and monsters, at a higher level. His curses would no longer be minor curses like bad luck, etc. Instead it would either be defensive or offensive. When he attacks, he would clasps his hands together, and mutter the curse under his breath. A few attacks that he often use is Gravity and Away, which are both defensive, pinning the opponent onto the ground or creates an area in which they cannot enter. For every attack against him, he has the ability to counter-attack with an equal strength and destruction.
ADHD & Dyslexia; Like all other demigods and demigoddesses, he is born with these. He can move really quickly, and reactions almost immediately, without lag time. However, his could not read modern words. Instead, he could only read greek inscriptions and words from the past. Dyslexia also gave him a problem — he couldn't remember names of people as easily as others.
