Zelo was a strange boy growing up, so very anti social. Though he didnt like to play with other kids he was just fine playing on his own. He would spend his time dancing all alone and singing to himself. Sometimes he would be sitting in his room rapping all by himself, but thats how he liked it, he was always so nervous in front of other people he would fidget and blush if people were watching him, if they asked him to sing or rap for them he would get so nervous he had to run away before he got sick. As he got older he started to get a little better at social interaction he didnt squirm in his seat at much or run away but he is still very shy and quiet around strangers. He tends to sit alone, eat alone, draw, dance, sing, rap, everything, he could do it all while he is alone and tends to be very happy doing it that way.

Zelo finds himself most at ease when he can be a little black kitten, no one would want to hurt a kitten right? So he feels most safe that way and turns to that form if he gets scared or too nervous.

When Zelo was very young his mother passed away due to a terminal illness, he was left with a greiving father. His father turned to drinking to get rid of the pain and sadness of losing his wife, Zelo became his own personal punching bag. He was beaten by his father and molested by him and on a few occasions the boy was , though only while he was drunk. His father never seemed to remember what he did and didnt understand why Zelo was so shy and why even with him he didnt want to be touched or talk. Zelo blocked out these memories once his father went to rehab and quit drinking, because he didnt want to remember them at all. He doesnt remember them in the least but finds himself having strange nightmares every now and then.
