Wooyoung is the only heir of his family's medical technology empire. Jang Medical Group
has been the leading provider of advanced medical supplies and pharmaceuticals for over
eighty years and continues to grow. His parents, though they are rarely around, have been
molding Wooyoung since childhood to be fit to take over when the time is right. He has plenty
of friends in high places willing to support him, but he hasn't shown any real initiative lately to
get involved in the company. The media has begun questioning his capability as the future CEO,
but his familiy is always quick to squash the rumors. In fact, there are many of things the media
would kill to know about Jang Wooyoung, but. his family is very careful about keeping things
hidden that could damage the well-being of their estate.

So what are some of his secrets? Perhaps the biggest is that he was born with a heart defect
called Hypoplastic left heart syndrome. The left ventricle of his heart was  severely under-
developed and from the time he was born until he was four years old he had to undergo
a major series of surgeries to correct the problem. Ironically, he spent most of his childhood
dependent on the technology his company specializes in so no one really knows Jang Group
as well as Woo. His heart will need to be monitored for the rest of his life and there is no
guarantee that the surgery will prevent him from eventually needing a heart transplant.
It is because of this reason that he was even more sheltered while growing up. In addition
to his parents telling him who he could and could not be friends with, they also did not let
him play sports or do anything risky because of his condition. He hasn't even dated...

Truthfully, Wooyoung is a bit of a useless person when it all comes down to it. He doesn't
excell in his studies (but he is by no means dumb), nor is he very atheletic. He does have a
few talents aside from being the notorious leader of F4, though. He is pretty good at video
games, singing, and even chess. However, simple, everyday things that common people do
like cooking for themselves and driving completely escape him. It's a wonder he knows how
to tie his own shoes.
