Having grown up in the nicer part of Seoul, Yuri always lived a good life. Her father was the owner of a large manufacturing company and her mother was a professional textile designer, causing a grat sum of money to come into the household. Yuri attended private, all-girl schools until the age of fourteen, when she was transferred into the public school system for reasons still unknown to Yuri today. In the public, mixed school, Yuri became friends with people who smoked, did drugs, and drank heavily. Eventually, her friends rubbed off on her. She began to do heroin as well as drink. Numerous times a week she would have — whether it be for money or pleasure. After barely graduating high school, in her later years Yuri came across the North Gang of Seoul.
