So you want to know about Choi Sulli? Then let's begin with the fact that her real name is actually Choi Jinri. Actually, she wants to know how the kids at the orphanage came up with the name, seeing as it just sprung out of nowhere. But only people close to her call her Jinri; everyone else calls her Sulli. It's almost as if her name is as precious as her life. Well, it kind of is, considering it's all she has of her biological family. Her childhood? She's spent her entire life in the orphanage, having been dropped off there mere moments after she was born. The only thing left with the wicker basket that contained her? Her birth name and nothing else. She's never seen her parents, nor does she ever plan to. She's lived a decent enough life at the orphanage, and doesn't really plan to leave unless she gets kicked out or adopted, which has yet to happen.
Sulli's a bright and cheerful girl, smiling almost all the time. For her girlish looks, however, this girl is pretty boyish. Always hungry, her stomach is growling all the time, and she never seems to remember she is a girl when she sits. Although fond of playing pranks, the tall girl is actually pretty wimpy when it comes to a lot of things such as thunder and large bodies of water. But Jinri isn't the girl who's always cheerful, bright and smiling. No, she has her flaws too, and she's like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode and let out everything she's bottled up. Her cheerfulness isn't a facade, no not at all. She was a cheerful child. But she too has her moments, and her darker side isn't one to be handled lightly.
As it turned out, however, her parents left a letter to the caretakers, leaving behind the name of her older brother. Who is it? It's none other than the silent Choi Seunghyun.
