Never, in his nineteen years, had Taemin lived for himself. He lived for his parents, he lived trying to impress his parents and be the 'perfect son'. He was never spoilt, he never asked for anything. He was always independent, only relying in himself. His parents, however, wished for the very opposite. They wished he would ask for more, that'd he'd allow himself to be spoilt a little. But Taemin would, of course, never let that happened. He never really wanted anything, only his parents acknowledgement. They did though, but Taemin was never convinced. They always want to spend time with him, but due to his parents working so much they never had the time. When they did, Taemin was either studying or working. One day, their parents found an opportunity. For Taemin to live his youth, be like every other kid his age. It was the opportunity to live in Jeju for a few years, working in a popular hotel with the theme of youth. Unable to refuse his parents, he granted their wishes with the misunderstanding of their parents getting tired of him – thinking he wasn't good enough.
Strange, evil and and plain irritating were just a few words to describe Lee Taemin. It was so, totally unexpected that this feminine-looking, pretty faced with the image of a polite little flower boy would actually be the little devil on your left shoulder. It's almost impossible to tell what he's thinking or what he's trying to get out with you. He loves making people feel uncomfortable around him, driving them into a corner with a pretty little smile that could just piss you off with such sharp words escaping those tempting lips of his. He seems fearless, but truth is he has such a simple fear. If anybody knew what it was, they'd probably laugh at him. His fear is, well, the dark. Ridiculous, isn't it? This blunt, straight forward, Lee Taemin, afraid of something as simple as the dark. Well, it's not that simple. In the dark, he can hardly even move. He'd be stuffed in a corner, just frozen and scared. He didn't know how he got this fear of the dark, perhaps he was born with it. The only people who know of this fear are his family members and two of his closest friends.
