being the only son of two of the most prominent professors of seoul, south korea, joonmyeon grew up doing what his parents have always wanted him to do: to aim high, even though it can sometimes mean that he has to do something he desn't like. all his life he did that, wanting to impress his parents for he is an only child. joonmyeon likes to write, especially when he's sad. he writes about everything that comes to his mind, but mostly he writes about how he feels. he writes most when he feels sad and disappointed. he also writes when he's happy, whch is unusual. joonmyeon lives a melancholic life, and he only finds comfort when he gets to write how he feels. living inside a household where people don't usually talk (for his parents are workaholics and he didn't have a sibling), joonmyeon grew up being the silent type. he doesn't talk that much, especially when asked about his personal issues, but he would love it if he found a friend.
