Luhan wants to be reborn to try and be a more confident and kind individual, one who goes after the dreams he wanted to all his life and not live under the shadow of his parents.  Parent who rarely paid attention to him, being way to busy dealing with their own personal lives than to deal with their son.  He had his own dreams that he wanted to pursue but was always pressure by his parents to follow in their steps and take over the company when they were gone, or even just take over so they could have more freedom to do what they wanted.  His parents ignored anything that he wanted and even forced him to go on dates that he didn't want to go on, all in the name of making alliances.

When he fell ill to a rare and barely traceable disease, Luhan didn't do anything about it, wanting to see if his parents would notice.  If for once in their life they would actually take action to help their son.  By the time they did notice it was too late for anything to be done.  Now that he has been reborn Luhan is a student focusing on dancing and singing, he really wants to make it as a performer and he will do whatever he can to achieve that goal.  he's doing what he wants to do and nothing will deter him from that goal.  Luhan simply wants to live his life as he sees fit.  To make some money and work his way through school Luhan spends his evenings as a bartender, where he's more than happy to talk to anyone and maybe even make a few connections.
