Born Jung Soo-Jung in San Franciso on October 24, 1994; she was the youngest sibling of her two parents and her older sister Jessica. But her english name is Krystal Jung and that is what she prefered to be called. On the other hand, being the youngest sibling in the Jung's House isn't always what people believe it is; being the youngest could mean that you are treated as a slave for everything. Not wanting to upset her mother or father she didn't complain and did everything they wanted. Six years later, the Jung family went on a family vacation trip to South Korea where both Jessica and Krystal were stopped by one agents that work for SM Entertainment and were later offered singing and dancing lessons, but in the end only Jessica was allowed to join the entertainment because she was older than her younger sister but it wasn't over to Krystal. In 2006, The Jung's finally let Krystal join SM Entertainment and was finally re-united with her sister; and that's where she met F(x). 

Years had went by since the training days. Krystal and Jessica suffered a lot but they say it was worth it in the end; and they were correcy. Krystal as stared in numerous TV series as well as dramas and it all started with 2010; just one year after joining SM Entertainment.
