Kyungsoo is the only child of a single father. His family was never well off, but they always managed somehow. This was strange to Kyungsoo because his father wasn't emplyeed. Yet, he always had some cash in his pocket. After a day of harsh punishment, Kyungsoo learned to never question it. His mother disappeared one day when he was just a kid and Kyungsoo had despised her for it. However, after one day and a man, Kyungsoo had a different look on things: he did not blame his mother for running away- in fact, he understood completely. But what he couldn't stand was that she didn't take him with her. 

His father was, in essence, a messenger. But instead of delivering normal letters, he was in charge of distributing top secret information of available slaves. He was mainly responsible for distributing the slaves out to various buyers for thick wads of cash. Kyungsoo had no idea about this until one day, when he woke up on a cold hard basement floor with his wrists chained to a metal pole. A man had informed him that he was now a slave as a gift to a certain slave/master mansion in the courtesy of his father. 

Shock. Pain. Hate. Fear. Kyungsoo struggled to cope with such powerful, raw emotions. Having been betrayed by his father, Kyungsoo now trusted no one. Although he abhorred his current situation, he knew he had to change somehow in order to survive. And he did.
