Luhan was born from a fairy mother and an angel father, angel who was the prince of the Sky kingdom. Unfortunately for the poor boy, the way he came to be was something that determined his fate drastically, because of the fact that his mother was not a princess, was not his father’s wife. He was chased down by the royal guards, together with the woman who gave life to him; his existence considered a sin. She struggled to shield him the best she could, he was the light of her life, the person whom she loved the most in the world. However that wasn’t enough to protect him completely. One of his wings was torn and cut down by the guards, but she saved him before they could harm him any more.

The woman knew though, that she couldn’t protect him forever like that, so she ran away with him. Her heart was torn so painfully when she left him to be taken care of by Yesung’s, the king of the Earth kingdom, parents, but she knew it was for the best. When they parted ways, she gave him a keepsake, a magical stone made with her powers, which could protect and allow him to go to any land. Just a few moments before her life ended as she was killed by the guards, she realized that she had done well giving him away. The kind-hearted king would definitely take care of her dear child.

Not long after Yesung took him in, a war broke, war in which Luhan’s father lost his life as well, leaving him an orphan. He had a family though. King Yesung and prince Lay were just like big brothers to him.

Yesung forbid him from visiting the Sky kingdom again after one experience there. His wing was hit again, causing Luhan to fall the whole way down, directly into the ocean. He survived though, and because of that he couldn’t visit his homeland again.

Being the only half fairy-half angel, Luhan has power over the light, and he also spreads magical fairy dust wherever he steps.
