Taemin was born into a family of fledgling vampires. Although they weren't the richest of people, being the less unfortunate ones of the Lees, he was nonetheless happy living with his family. It stayed like for a long tine, until the Elders of the Lee family decided that his kind was no longer needed, saying that their wreckless and uncontrollable behavior when thirsting for blood left a nasty stain on their name. Everyone except for the children of the lesser Lee family were exterminated; a genocide. Taemin still lurks and live in the deserted area where he and his family used to live, paying his respects all the while creating a harder, tougher outer shell to make sure nobody sees just how vulernable he is and sleeping around with men to make him feel less lonely
