She yearns to be a part but she learnt her place at a tender age.

Lily isn't somebody you would notice at first sight if not for her eyebrows. Brown hair is common amongst the Puffles and she hardly stood out at all. At least, not to the majority. Her arms always sport bruises and the occasional ones on her face appears due to bullying. People put her down due to her background and attitude and her blood status as a muggle born doesn't help her case at all.

Despite all the bullying, however, Lily never once regretted her circumstance or blamed things on anyone. If she ever did, she would blame herself for lacking the courage to fight for what she really wants. Instead, Lily goes around with her head bowed, understanding that perhaps she is never made to fit in and that she should just focus on studying because books are the only ones who would never turn their backs on her.

PLOTS:

( puck ) - male/no age preference. Although Lily gets bullied on a daily basis, this guy is a little different. He doesn't bully her as much as he pranks her. He does it for fun and doesn't really habour any hatred or resentment towards her. Okay, perhaps he just likes his fun a little too much sometimes but he mostly has no ill intent towards her.

( iago ) - male/preferably older/pureblood. The main tormentor in Lily's life. He exists to make her life a living he'll just because he has the power to. He is everything Lily isn't: smart, rich, handsome. And he has a tight grip on Lily's emotions because she used to like him and he found out. He delights in embarrassing Lily as much as possible and Lily falls for his tricks every time.

( hamlet ) - male/preferably younger. This is a boy who suffers from similar problems - depression, bullying and hopelessness. He has a dark past as well and is unable to move on. Lily sees herself in him and attempts to reach out to him. She thinks that if she manages to help him, she would have a chance to prove herself as well. In a way, she is helping him to help herself.

( antonio ) - male/preferably a prefect. He took Lily in when he first saw her get bullied in the first year. He didn't have any power to stop them back then but he is determined to help Lily now that he has the capability to. However, Lily does not immediately place her trust in him. He has to coax Lily out of her shell and teach her how to stand up for herself. Akin to Lily's mentor.

( romeo ) -  male/preferably older. Every girl needs her Prince Charming and tbh I haven't figured this one out yet xoxo

( miranda ) - female/no age preference. The openly compassionate friend of Lily's who tries to help Lily as much as she could without incurring the wrath of her bullies.  Lily feels indebted to this girl and a little awkward because she didn't understand why would anyone be nice to her. In fact, Miranda is out to use Lily to boost her own image. She does not really like Lily.

( titania ) - female/preferably same age. She's the ideal role model and the girl whom Lily yearns to be. In Lily's eyes, this girl could do no wrong. Lily is blinded enough to be unable to discern that this girl detests her and is the source of all her girl troubles, a big part of why she's  unable to assimilate. 

( viola ) - female/no age preference. They were both nobodies but they found a friend in each other and formed this unlikely pair. Their differences only complement each other and they both change each other for the better. Viola is Lily's listening ear and comforting shoulder and Lily relies on her more than they both realize. i do have other plots in mind (mostly for girls be Shakespeare has too many male characters) but unfortunately no Shakespeare characters to name them after :(
