Sunggyu has never been a particularly strong person and his body carries a few extra pounds than he's proud to admit. He has delicate hands that have not known a day’s hard labor, that were made to handle precious things, steady and perfect for the small details… Not at all like the hands of a warrior. Nor does he have the heart of someone who would go into battle. His father was an astounding Beast-Tamer and he had been expected to follow in his footsteps while growing up, but even if he'd wanted to his frail body wouldn't let him. Though he's come to terms with it, he often feels like he has let his father down. He makes up for what he lacks in strength with a sharp tongue, though. Even if the odds are against him, he is unlikely to back down.

While he can't contribute to the tribe as a tamer, he often heals the ones who get injured in battle, as well as other Fae who fall victim to a beast's desires. He is a compassionate and caring person, though not just for his own kind. He doesn't openly admit it, but Sunggyu has a rather liberal view of beasts. Through his years in this world, he has come to realize many similarities between Beasts and the Fae that many others refuse to see. Beneath the carnal urges, the Beasts still have emotions. They simply can't control themselves when they go into heat. Sunggyu sympathizes with them, though he still has a respectful fear of them.

PLOTS

WOOHYUN (GENRE: FRIENDSHIP): When they were younger, Woohyun became a trainee of Sunggyu's father. His dad had always enjoyed grooming new beast tamers and Woohyun was one of his best pupils. Unlike his adopted brother Himchan, though, Sunggyu didn't like Woohyun. He held a grudge against the other kid for all the attention he got from his father. To this day, deep down Sunggyu still hasn't gotten over it, but he has developed a decent relationship with Woohyun since then... Until about five years ago when Woohyun stole Kris' heart from him. It just was another person that chose Woohyun over him.

SUNGJONG (GENRE: FAMILY): Sunggyu's younger cousin, though that doesn't keep him from picking on Sunggyu. Even when the kid can get on his nerves, Sunggyu is very fond and protective of him.

KRIS (GENRE: INTIMATE, ANGST): Back when he was young and naive, Sunggyu had gotten lost in the forest. It was a beast who found him, dried his tears, and led him back home. For a while after that, Sunggyu met Kris in secret, becoming close friends. However, his father soon found out about it and forbid Sunggyu from seeing the beast again, threatening to do horrible things if he disobeyed him. In order to protect Kris, Sunggyu stopped meeting him, not knowing that Kris' had developed deeper feelings for him. Now, with his father long gone, Sunggyu has been reunited with his friend and intends to keep it that way... Love has since blossomed between them, but it seems like there is always something or someone coming inbetween them. Although he loves Kris dearly, Sunggyu is beginning to think that maybe they just weren't meant to be together.

HIMCHAN (GENRE: FAMILY): Sunggyu's younger, adopted brother. Honestly, he doesn't really remember a time before Himchan was part of his family. It almost seems as if he's always been there, but Sunggyu knows that his mother never had another son. Himchan was everything Sunggyu's father wanted in a son, a boy who could follow in his footsteps as a beast tamer. Sunggyu was always somewhat jealous because of this and at times he wasn't the nicest older brother, but he'd always cared for Himchan. After the mishap of Himchan nearly exploding their villiage, Sunggyu didn't agree with his father's decision to send him away, but hadn't protested out of fear of disappointing the man more. For years he didn't see HImchan and now he hopes he can mend their relationship somehow.
